Jul 10, 2009 On tap at the pub, July 2009. This was a nice, well rounded IPA, good malts, hops were bitter but not bright, moe of an English styled IPA to my palate. I think I would have liked it more if it wasn’t so humid that day.

Jun 16, 2009 The best beer I had at this brewery. The slightly higher alcohol provided more body and a stronger malt presence than their other beers. American pale ale taste with piney hops. Not especially bitter or sweet. Pretty typical beer, but tasty and drinkable.

Aroma - Caramel, some floral notes, and citrus
Appearance - Clear orange/gold, medium head.
Flavor - Sweet malty entry of caramel, slowly building grapefruit bitterness in to a nice dry finish
Palate - Medium body and carbonation, clean, dry palate
Overall - A solid IPA with some good flavor and balance

Aug 16, 2008 Pours light brown color with foamy whitish film. Aroma lots of citrus hops. Flavor very nice malt-hop balance with medium mouthfeel. Bit piney and citric bitterness. Overall a good ipa.

Jul 6, 2008 Draft at brewpub, pours a hazy yellow with a soapy hoppy aroma. Body was thin, flavor was similar to a Longhammer IPA, a little bit too soapy for my taste, good, nothing special.

Oct 18, 2007 The aroma was estery and fruity with a light caramel and citrus with a lightly bready and woodsy character. A light bit of carboard was notable. The beer arrived cloudy amber golden with and off-white lasting head which laced the glass. The flavor contained more cardboard (oxidation) with caramel and citrus. The citrus was grapefruit and the flavors were a bit muddled. The body was medium with a moderate carbonation and a creamy texture on the palate. The finish was nice and dry with lasting bittering and citrus into the aftertaste. A good beer which would be better if it wasn’t oxidized. Pint at the brewpub.
