The nose is of black pepper and grapefruit.
Very malty flavor up front and then... grapefruit, grapefruit, grapefruit. Me likes!
Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, sweet 'n' tart finish with a ton of hop bitterness thrown in to help the beer go out with a Bang!

Fresh grapefruity hoppy aroma has a touch of sweet grainy malt. Body starts with a nice caramel malty sweetness balanced with a refreshing grapefruity hoppy flavor. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 10, 2007 Growler. Poured a clear copper color with a small off-white head. the aroma was made up of a hoppy citrus and caramel malt mix. Some perfumey notes as well. The flavor had a malty front with a modderately hoppy middle to finish. Citrus and pine make up the long and moderately bitter finish. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Clean, crisp resiny aroma. Very refreshing. Fairly piney at first, and a bit of smoke in the end. Dry, earthy finish. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2009 On tap at the pub, July 2009. This was a nice, well rounded IPA, good malts, hops were bitter but not bright, moe of an English styled IPA to my palate. I think I would have liked it more if it wasn’t so humid that day. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Draft – Golden amber, creamy white head. Soft pine and citric aromas warm to a touch of florals. Bitter spicy citric-pine tones ride underlying fruity flavors throughout. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Decent hop fix, but very one-dimensional…
