Ernest (4481), Boulder, Colorado, USA Dec 5, 2007 Multiple samples, GABF 2007.
Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of lemon zest and pepper.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Not too shabby, kinda light and plain but better that many others at the fest. nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Aug 24, 2007 Draft at brewpub. Cloudy pale gold with a small head. Bitter citrus, spicy yeast and wheaty aroma. Flavor is of bittered bubblegum, slight bitter citrus and wheat notes. Not much sweetness, (seems like a Wit with more hops or bitter citrus) but still a nice summer alternative to crappy American Wheats. Palate is light and refreshing. tronraner (1906), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Jul 24, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours gold with white head. The aroma has lots of baking spices, wild honey, and a hint of leather. The flavor is light honey, hay, yeast, and the better part of a spice rack. Spiciness lingers into finish and leaves a warm aftertaste. Gets farmy as it warms. Pretty good. elmatador00 (518), j-action-ville, North Carolina, USA Jul 8, 2007 Poured a light golden color with a white head. This beer had hints of light sweet fruits, spices, nut, and had a bubble gum aroma. It finished sweet and smooth, had a slight metallic taste on the back end. It was carbonated perfectly/
