Commercial Description:
Participating in the pilsener contest at "Københavnske Øldage 2006".
This is our first bottom-fermented beer. The yeast is a lager yeast meaning that the beer has lagered and fermented in more than a month at 8 degrees Centigrade in the coldest months of the winter. Brewed on a mixture of different malt types, that are dried with lots of air and a low heat at the end. The malt is made from Pallas barley from our farm’s own fields. The hops are one of the old clones, I call it Winge7. It is both used as bitter and aroma hops. Alcohol content 5.3%. The flavor is more filling and spicy than the average pilsener or bock type, it is actually quite rich in both the powerful and the subtle notes, very adequate for one of the spring parties with good food.

Bottled, 75cl champagne-cork. Cph Beerfestival. Hazy orange beer with a white head. Aroma has a smoke-like sourness, along with a wheat-like grainprofile. Lightly fruity and sweet flavor and it feels mellow in the mouth. A nice, fruity and quite sweet beer. (060519)
