Has some sharp, acidic, fruity notes to go with a caramel malt base. Something almost like sour cherry in there but probably just a variant of the "farmyard" character. Fairly bitter finish. Slightly chalky mouthfeel. Interesting brew.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 30, 2006 A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very malty with notes of brew mash and hints of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel. The flavor seems unclean, though without any flaws - so it is probably just the farm yard beer that makes it seem unclean. A Danish Biere de Garde. joergen (8614), Frederiksberg, Denmark
