Commercial Description:
19. Bryg is brewed using air and oven dried Pallas malt, of which some, is my first attempt at making a powerful caramel malt (which gives the beer its color). Wye Challenger is used as bittering hops and as aroma hops Winge4, both are from our own hop garden. Fermented with a standard ale yeast, alcohol 5.8% ABV. The flavor has a good body with a clear balance between the hops bitterness and the sweetness from the malt. A beer that will develop towards desert wine in time. Cellar it, if you can.

Bottle at Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006. Reddish colour. Has some sharp, acidic, fruity notes to go with a caramel malt base. Something almost like sour cherry in there but probably just a variant of the "farmyard" character. Fairly bitter finish. Slightly chalky mouthfeel. Interesting brew.

Bottle. Hazy reddish brown with a beige head. Acidic aroma with sweetness, malt and a vague hop profile. Flavour is malty and sweet with some caramel and a light hoppiness. Slightly soft yet powerful on the tongue. Dark? Nah, not really.

A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and very malty with notes of brew mash and hints of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel. The flavor seems unclean, though without any flaws - so it is probably just the farm yard beer that makes it seem unclean. A Danish Biere de Garde.
