Commercial Description:
Brewed using a mixture of mild and blond Pallas malt and a bit raw Ølands wheat. The bittering hops used are Wye Challenger, and as aroma hops Winge2 are used, all from our own production. Top fermented with California Ale from WhiteLabs. Alcohol content 7% ABV. Enjoy around 9 degrees Centigrade. The beer has a clear golden color and a fine head. The flavor is quite filling, with fine notes of blue plums, and a fine aftertaste from the hops bitterness.

"Den Stærke". Bottle at the brewery, Hazy amber colour. Aroma of caramel, hops and some malt. Flavour has a good fruity hoppiness, plenty of sweetness, alcoholic, bit bitter finish. An ok tasting strong brew.

Bottle, 7% as 22 - Den Stærke. Cloudy orange/brown colour. Very small white head. Acidic aroma. The flavour is quite fruity. Nice mouthfeel, but slightly slimy. Soft carbonation. Good alcohol aftertaste. Satisfying and very palatable.

Bottled, 75cl champagne-cork. Cph Beerfestival. Hazy orange color, with a small, off-white head. Aroma has alcohol, sweetness and some yeast. The flavor has some orange in it, and lots of sweetness. Light sticky in the mouth, and a sweet finish. Pleasant, but probably not ready yet. The brewer also told me he decided that day that he would bring it along to the festival, even though he was a bit uncertain if it should have rested some more days. (060519)

A hazy amber beer with a beutiful orange head. The aroma is very sweet and fruity with oranges being most dominant, but it also has notes of nuts as well as a touch of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet malty with lots of alcohol notes - a bit too much for my liking, as well as notes of caramel and brewmash.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Fruity, lightly caramelish nose. Medium body with distinct malt- and caramel sweetness. Very discreet bitterness. Not bad, but a bit on the sweet side. I believe this could have matured some more. 190506
