My teeth went into water, caused by the look, but teh aroma didn’t follow the look. Flavor of both sharp and smooth bitterness, smoke, fruits, malty sweetness ending up in a short bitter finish.

Jan 11, 2007 Fresh bottle at the brewery. Hazy amber colour. Sweet and malty aroma, some caramel. Flavour has toasty maltiness, yeast, caramel with a bitter hoppy end. Good traditional ale brew.
