yngwie (3394), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 20, 2007 Bottled at Københavnske Øldage. 75cl corked bottle. Golden, unclear beer with a beige head. The nose is a bit acidic and citric, with sweetness and caramel. Somehow, the acidity in the flavor is nice, and matched with the caramel flavor. The body is medium to full, and the finish has sweetness, caramel and some malt. I kinda like the rustic beers from Fuglebjerggard, and it is always nice chatting with the brewer, discussing his experiments. On the other hand, most of them are a bit sour and strange, yet I mostly like it, and they are certainly interesting. It’s a hazy, orange-golden beer and the aroma has light notes of malt and orange citrus fruits. The flavour has sweetness, notes of candy sugar, caramel, citrus and a light bitterness. It’s quite charming. 2171 yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 18, 2007 CBF07 sample from 75 cL bottle. Pours orange hazy with some white head. Aroma is malty caramel sweet but also bit sour. Cloudy amber color with a average fizzy fair lacing mostly diminshing off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet, toffee, light alcoholic, some notes of hospital ! Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. To much malt sweetness for me ! Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
