Orange-fruity, lightly hoppy, sweetish flavor with some berries, acidity and yeast. Almost medium body with soft carbonation. A reasonably pleasant farmhouse ale. trapez (189), Hilleroed, Denmark Apr 13, 2008 Bottle 0.75 l.
Bryg no. 51. (I’m not sure this is the same as no. 33). Bought at Fuglebjerggaard.
Golden yellow, opaque with small white/light brown head. Aroma weak, but taste is great, dominated by the hobs produced by Fuglebjerggaard - Winge2. Very sweet beer, almost like a soft drink, was it not for the excellent hobs. Thanks to Per Kølster for growing hobs and producing remarkable beers.
yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 14, 2007 75 cL bottle, quite lively when opened. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminshing orange-brown head. My pour was more clear than Grovlams. Aroma is soft caramel malty and with a mild chemical note. Flavour starts sweet caramel malty and soon gains a slight chemical flavour of paint and plastic, not pleasant. Finish is mild caramel malty again. Would have been nice without those off notes. Grovlam (2984), Copenhagen, Denmark Dec 9, 2007 Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Lively bubbly off-white head that surprisingly did not last very long. Yespr’s version was almost clear and sparkling, my was heavy muddy with particles in flow. Spare lacework. Light grain and sour notes in the sniff. Strange mix of soap, burned plastic and hint of what appears as smoke. Light bodied with a soft carbonation. Light sweet and sour flavour. Soapy finish.
