Commercial Description:
An American inspired pale ale using European malts and American hops. The light addition of crystal and chocolate malt contribute to the orange hue of the beer along with some caramel notes. Cascade hops are added late in the boil along with Simcoe hops in the whirlpool to give this beer it’s unique apple, tangerine and citrus profile. The hops from America also contribute some light strawberry notes to this tasty beer from Fuglsang. A celebration of Spring in Denmark!

[Sampled at the MS-Swamp-lovers gathering.] Great surprise from Haderslev. Did not expect that, but the cascade is wellbalanced in normal doses and could do a very great job on tap in the summertime.

Bottled. An amber beer with a nice beige head. The aroma has notes of nuts, malt, caramel, and spicy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee, malt, nuts, and spicy and grapefruity hops, leading to a bitter finish. Nice beer - and nice to have another American brewer helping the Danish beer scene along.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Clear. Fluffy off white head. Fruits, sweetness and light herbs in the aroma. Subdued pine, hergs and light fruits and spice in the flavour. A bit dusty. Medium bodied. Light bitter in the end.

Bottle:Clear, amber coloured, stable off-white head; distinctive "american" hops in the nose, completed by roasted malt and brown bread; solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; lingering dry hoppy finish, balanced by juicy dark malt. What a nice surprise ! A superb brew from a mediocre brewery.........

Amber color with a frothy and good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Moderate hoppy aroma. Taste has a good bitter mild fruitiness with toasty caramel. Dry hop finish. Very good brew Fuglsang.
