The aroma has notes of roasted malt, sweetness, caramel and hints of licorice. The flavour naturally is sweet, but not cloying as in many other Hvidtøl. It has notes of roasted malt, caramel and a nice hint of licorice. The finish has a very light bitterness, kind of roasted. I always get happy when I find a nice Hvidtøl, I like to drink one from time to time. Theis (3765), Denmark

The aroma is sweet malty with notes of licorice and straw, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry finish with light notes of straw lingering. Thanks Myrup for sharing. joergen (8627), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Bottle. Deep brown almost black colour witha nice big light brown creamish head. Fair lacing. Quite sweet roasty caramel and maltiness in the aroma. Good mouthfeel. Quite the sweet flavour too with toasted malt, toasted caramel, some dark fruits and brown sugar. Just a bit too sweet for me in general but a very good Danish Hvidtøl style beer. Tak til ulven. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark
