On tap at the brew pub in Fresno. Poured a cloudy piss yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma was a hint of hops, but there was something metallic and off lurking pretty near the surface. Flavor was almost salty and metallic. A little like iodine. If I’d been anywhere other than the pub this would have been a drain pour. Proof that a catchy name does not a good beer make.

Should I buy beer just because it’s incredibly cheap? Let’s crack one open and see. More yellowish than golden; head dissipates quickly. Slightly more flavor than the Anheuser clique or other mega-mass produced "brews," but nothing at all to write anyone about. Palate is moderately nice; a little bit of acknowledgment that the hops in its name aren’t just a marketing ploy. $14.95 for 12x22 oz bottles. Mmm... that’s going to be taken with to parties and events for a while. So watch out if you invite me.
