Some smoky noes, some caramel, even a bit of whiskey. Nice malty flaor at first, but sort of peters out towards the end. ucusty (1919), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

Just about average or very slightly above. I guess we’re supposed to pick out some amber flavoring or character in this one? Oh well, Family Guy episode #2 of the hour is calling. Aha! It’s the beer episode with the silver scrolls, explaining chef012tc’s avatar! Yayyyy!!! mbgrayson (150), Anaconda, Montana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Pours with small head, and has a clear amber/dark copper color. Smooth but not quite the right flavor. A compex aftertaste that I am still getting used to. Would drink again but it is not my favorite amber.
