Jul 12, 2008 It’s an Amber, so it amber. Can’t get no amberer. Some smoky noes, some caramel, even a bit of whiskey. Nice malty flaor at first, but sort of peters out towards the end.

Jul 5, 2008 The first amber ale I’d had in years, thank to some American-independence-related celebration thingy. Just about average or very slightly above. I guess we’re supposed to pick out some amber flavoring or character in this one? Oh well, Family Guy episode #2 of the hour is calling. Aha! It’s the beer episode with the silver scrolls, explaining chef012tc’s avatar! Yayyyy!!!

Jul 5, 2008 Pours with small head, and has a clear amber/dark copper color. Smooth but not quite the right flavor. A compex aftertaste that I am still getting used to. Would drink again but it is not my favorite amber.
