Bottle. Deep amber pour with an off white head. Sweet mildly roasted aroma with a bit of a floral hop scent. Flavor has some sweetness to it that is nicely balanced by a mild floral. A decent beer.

Bottle, Kegs & Barrels, McKinney, TX. Pours a clear amber with off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel. Flavor of caramel with faint bitter, also, perhaps some maple? Mouthfeel is kinda on the watery side though, high carbonation. Over all, was pretty good.

Single from Total Wine. Malty aroma . Decent white head. Flavor is smooth and malty, with a subdued hop presence and a light bitterness. This is so drinkable I could slam a six without even thinking about it. There’s nothing spectacular here, just a well balanced amber that you can knock back again and again.

5/25/08 From the bottle. Aroma is malt forward with lots of caramel and very low hop flora. Appearance is clear copper with a well maintained off white head. Flavor is malt dominant with a nice roast compliment and low bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a low carb texture. Overall, quite good, very clean and easy drinking.

12 oz, bb 09/05/08. Clear dark copper with a small, lasting head. Spicy molasses and wood aroma. Flavor is initially spicy molasses, turning to wood, and then some dried grass and toasted nut. Light-medium body is dry, tingly, and sorta smooth.

A disslike this beer very much so. Too malty, no hop presence, no nice aroma, but is smooth on the palate.
