Nose of yeast and hops with some floral notes. Hops are right out front in the taste, which I like. Distinctly hoppy dry finish with some more floral notes. thooper41 (393), Oregon, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2008 don’t like their attitude, wouldn’t have purchased if I read the label and carton, just saw a new beer to try, and am impressed with the amber ale, sweet malt, do not like the initial aroma, almost gagged, but the taste is much better RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 8, 2008 Eh. A nice little amber. Pours a clear amber in color with a thin white head. Flavor is pretty standard amber ale ... malty with a dash of earthy hops. Nothing remarkable, really. Droptank (79), Spring, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 6, 2008 I thought this was a well balanced brew. Pours a nice amber color and a white head that quickly fades. Overall I was satisfied with the drink, I am not sure wether or not I would buy a 6er for myself, I don’t like hippies! | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 30, 2008 All joking aside , there sure is a lot of unnecessary pomp in Full Sail’s display. The carton goes on and on about how they are leftist hippies that would rather be Birkenstocking about the river up there in Oregon, canoeing with large shepherd dogs, and driving their Eurobuses to the beach to spend time not working. We get it: The Oregon coast is great, us rat-racers are fools for having to bust ass in blue collar trying to pay off a mortgage in cookie-cutter suburbia. Or so that is the message. My message: Brew the damn beer. Let your product do the talking. Now, on to my rating: Pours a nice uh, amber-brown with little head. This beer gets better after it’s been through your mouth a few times. Initial taste is bland and leathery, but after a few sips becomes almost good with subtle citrus and malt. Not a bad beer by any standard, but doesn’t live up to all the fluff. Then again, nothing could live up to that level of self-agrandizement. maltdog (518), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Apr 27, 2008 I expected a culinary masterpiece from the frequency that the brewer’s name peppers the brewzines. The libation pours a deep pecan brown, not remotely "amber"... a large airy head creates remarkably good lace, even though no carbonation remains in the beer after pouring. Quite bland aroma consists only of caramel, butterscotch, and citrus. Unappealing "brown" and soapy flavor has a tart finish; a vague chocolate and pencil eraser aftertaste proved equally noisome. Unquestionably oxidized at near its "best before" date. The thin, milky mouthfeel features an uncomfortable slimy texture. Completely unbeerlike, and about as ambiguous and insipid as any beverage can be... I couldn’t bring myself to drink more than a few ounces. Blech! phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 24, 2008 This brew poured a beautiful dark amber colour with a enticing aroma that was something very similar to melon, oddly enough. a nice large white head that quickly dissappeared and malty creamy mouthfeel. Flavors were all over the board. plenty of fruit and a bit earthy at times.
