| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Aug 4, 2007 This $1.95 bottled brew from a shop in the Portland Airport poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated copper brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty astringent and dirty sock. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of mild hops astringent and brown malt. Not one that I would likely buy again. Ambrose (141), East Aurora, New York, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Pours a clear amber with an offwhite, thick head that has good retention. The aroma is dominated by the cascade hops, though there is a fair amount of caramel sweetness. The flavor is very similar to the aroma. The deliciously refreshing crispness of the piny Northwestern hops mixes quite well with the light sweetness of the malt. Overall a solid amber that pairs well with most any bar food. Aroma is a nice caramel malt with a decent amount of hops. Flavor is primarily the same. Very well balanced. Nice, smooth amber. Would make a good session beer. I’ll have it again, for sure. 505 (271), Echo Park, California, USA

Aroma is fresh and hoppy, with a touch of nuttiness. Flavor is quite nice, nothing out of this world, but tasty and well balanced, citrusy with a nice nutty maltiness. Pretty good. Aroma of molasses and a touch of roastiness. Starts semi sweet with light caramel undertones and toasted bread. finishes with a subtly floral hoppiness. A lttle on the boring side, but a clean beer. djd07 (753), Houston, Texas, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 30, 2007 Clear amber brown, almond coloured head, moderate retention. Sweet caramel aroma. Caramel malt dominates the flavour, as expected, but a little more hop-driven bitterness than many ambers. I didn’t like the noticable metallic note in the finish. Also quite a thin mouthfeel. Average for me.
