Pours a pale amber brew with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is more like a Pale Ale than an amber. Aromas of citrus, caramel, earthy malt and a touch of chocolate. Taste has some spice, medium body and a bitter/sweet aftertaste. BDR (2167), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 6, 2007 Dark amber pour with lots of head. Some hop peaking out of the otherwise stale malt nose. Relatively malty body with some hops that is much better than the nose. I first noticed its sweet hop and malt aroma with hints of caramel and honey. The initial flavour was sweet, and maintained that sweetness through the finish, though it was quite a short beer. The amber ale had a medium body with a slightly oily palate. I would have liked if the beer was a bit creamier and not as fizzy. Good amber beer overall. notete (10), Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida, USA

Very pleasant beer will enjoy the rest. SilkTork (4175), Rochester, Kent, England
