Pours ruddy brown/red with an off white, short lasting head. Aroma is herbal tea. That’s the only way to really describe it. Some maltiness as well in the aroma. But it mainly smells like a tea beer, if there were such a thing. Flavor on the tongue is malt, herbal flavors and again tea. Finishes clean, slightly bitter, medium lasting. Very mild chocolate and caramel in the nose, but mostly mineral-like hops. A touch medicinal... maybe iodine. Perfectly balanced, but dull, mineral flavor. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and subtle carbonation. Unpolished, very lightly bitter finish. k9coug (41), USA

Beautifull bronze, 1/2" of head that settled out in about a minute. Livens back up in the mouth. Burnt coffee flavor (that’s not a bad thing). Was one of my favorites in the late 80’s. Remains so today. MesandSim (5930), London, Greater London, England

Toffee aroma with slight citric hints. Similar flavour with with a little more hops and a sweet fruity finish. maeib (4745), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

The aroma is hoppy with some fruity malts also. The taste is similar and there’s some late sweetness. A decent enough beer but quite unexciting. DKlovesbeer (172), Sarasota, Florida, USA

Aroma is faint but notes of malt and hops are present. Flavor is somewhat bland but occasionally some hops character or malt sweetness makes an appearance. Certainly not ridiculously delicious, but okay for the $5.99 I paid. jackgoss (2), USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 19, 2007 medium bitterness, long finish, medium body, oily feel, amber, cereal, white foam, clear, average carbonation, grass, toast,
