This one poured me an excellent colour, that being a seriously dark and clear amber beneath a petite tan head. A lovely malt aroma wafted up from the glass, and I just knew that I’d like this beer. The taste was quite similar to the aroma, but with a suggestion of what might be burnt coffee thrown in. Mouthfeel is quite right, with a prototypical amber ale finish.

12oz bottle from BevMo. Nice clear amber color with easily stirred up carbonation. Toasty-nutty malts. Very clear amber beer aroma with low level spicy hops. Toasted grain flavor with some lightly sticky malt underneath. Spicy hops with hints of citrus. Semi-dry finish with hints of sweetness at the finish. Semi-dry medium body. A fair and drinkable amber.

This orange/amber ale poured with a decent off-white head and a floral citrus aroma. There is a slightly carbonated piney malt flavor, with some hop bitterness at the finish. Good but not remarkable.

Poured dark amber, with lots of brown. It was clear with a nice white to off-white head that produced average lacing. The aroma had light hints of smoky, roasted malts and some citrus. The flavor had citrus and some sweet malt with what could have been a touch of chocolate malts. The mouthfeel was thin, dry and somewhat metallic. Refreshing at first and then it became a bit of a chore to drink.

Deep amber pour with hints of ruby and a thin, off-white head. Smells of sweet malts, fruits, and caramel. Flavor is sweet malts, slight hop bitterness, fruits, and earthy notes. Pretty good.
