Aug 11, 2006 Had this beer at the Orchard House on the King Estate Winery Estate. great tasting malty sweet beer that has rich amber hue, a full body, and a spicy floral hop finish. very nice malt. light amber color.

Aug 8, 2006 Full Sail Amber Ale (USA) is another great example of American brewing. Well balanced and fresh with never even a mention of imported skunk. I managed to forget about this but now have adopted Full Sail with Drakes IPA, & Eye of the Hawk. The three have been very much appreciated. Full Sail being very pleasing and easy drinking and very economical.

Aug 8, 2006 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear orange-brown color with of white head that left a bit of lace. Malty aroma and flavor with hints of molasses, brown sugar, and caramel. Sprucy and spicy at the end.

Aug 4, 2006 Pours an amber color (go figure) with a minimal soapy white head. Aroma is nice and malty, pine needles, chocolate, brown sugar, and a nice hop backing. A medium bodied taste with the malts coming to the forefront and also including: A piney note, nice hoppiness, and a bit of chocolate. Palate is rather short, bitter, and slightly carbonated. Overall, A decent Amber. Nice and robust, but kind of run of the mill.

Jul 31, 2006 Draft. Color Amber (of course). Small head slightly off-white. Earthy nose, with clear malts and nice hops. Nice mouthfeel. Very good flavor and good finish. Solid ale. Very well done.
