Full Sail Amber Ale (USA) is another great example of American brewing. Well balanced and fresh with never even a mention of imported skunk. I managed to forget about this but now have adopted Full Sail with Drakes IPA, & Eye of the Hawk. The three have been very much appreciated. Full Sail being very pleasing and easy drinking and very economical.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear orange-brown color with of white head that left a bit of lace. Malty aroma and flavor with hints of molasses, brown sugar, and caramel. Sprucy and spicy at the end.

Pours an amber color (go figure) with a minimal soapy white head. Aroma is nice and malty, pine needles, chocolate, brown sugar, and a nice hop backing. A medium bodied taste with the malts coming to the forefront and also including: A piney note, nice hoppiness, and a bit of chocolate. Palate is rather short, bitter, and slightly carbonated. Overall, A decent Amber. Nice and robust, but kind of run of the mill.

Nice looking, caramel malt aromas, subtle hops. Nothing distinct, but a well-made amber ale. One-dimensional, toasty and sweet malts.

Draft. Color Amber (of course). Small head slightly off-white. Earthy nose, with clear malts and nice hops. Nice mouthfeel. Very good flavor and good finish. Solid ale. Very well done.
