Commercial Description:
The best selling Amber in the Northwest. It's a great tasting malty sweet beer that has rich amber hue, a full body, and a spicy floral hop finish. This American style amber ale is brewed with: 2-row Pale, Crystal and Chocolate malts and is hopped with Mt. Hood and Cascade hops

12 oz bottle. Dark amber pour with a bit of a light red hint to it. Aroma is very malty, quite a bit of caramel with some light earthy hop scents as well. The flavor is mostly caramel as well with some light floral and earthy hop notes. Another mediocre year round offering from Full Sail.

A very nice suprise and it continues to remind me why Full Sail is underappreciated in some circles. They’ve taken a rather bland style and made it their own. The pour is a very nice, cherrywood/reddish-brown color, cloudy with a rocky 1" creamy head. The aroma full of sweet malts, nutty, slightly rosey and light fruits. Flavors are suprisingly sweet, some malts both caramel and coffeeish (but never taking sides either way...odd). Maybe it’s more caramel and chocolate, but I get the flavor of eating a Werther’s chocolate coated caramel, but still has an ever so slight roasted malt. A creamy mouthfeel, full and round nicely completes the beer. I wish the finish was a tad bit longer, but that’s just nitpicky I guess. Very enjoyable.

Pours amber with tan head. Sweet malts, a little bit of spice, and just a bit of hops. Good balance. But there is a slight chemical taste. Mouthfeel is good. Good carbonation, not too thin, leaves your lips a little sticky with sweetness.

Very fine example of American Amber Style. Pours a very dark amber with hints of dark ruby. Smell is malty of center but earthy hops are noticeable. Taste is bready but well balanced with some hop bitterness. Very drinkable beer. Full Sail’s Amber is always a solid/consistent performer. Nice beer from a solid brewery. Will not disappoint. Bottle. Pours with a small fading off-white head over a brown (auburn, not really amber) body. Aroma of biscuit, nuts, dirt, caramel and hops. Taste is caramel, nuts hops and light diacetyl. Thinnish mouthfeel that feels slightly slick on the tongue. Light carbonation.
