Bottle. The color is a dark amber verging on copper, with a somewhat thin white to offwhite head. The nose is pretty subdued, with some malts and a little bit of fruit. The flavors are similar, with a very nice hoppy background. I actually bought this six-pack as the "best available" at a big supermarket thinking it would be just fine, but i actually quite enjoyed it. Give it a try!

Pours a lovely light amber color with a thin white ring of bubbz at the top. A great nose, malty, and rich.. text-book amber nose. A toasty amber taste, a bit light on the back end. A bit of citrus coming through with a hint of spices. A medium body, with a slightly dry finish. Enjoyed this beer way more than i was expecting to. Woo!

Bottle. Multiple tastings (Previous tastings from memory). Enjoyed drinking these when I lived in the pacific northwest awhile back. An excellent amber ale, very drinkable as I recall.

deep reddish amber with thin white head. off aroma of stale biscuit. flavor is fairly sweet, almost cloying. almost seems like added sweetness not from the malt. off finish. not very pleasing.

10.02.2009, 12 fl. oz. Colour is brown with a white head. There is a strong hoppy smell when you twist of the cap. Aroma is sweet malty with spisey hops. I think that this hoppy flavour is very nice.

Pours dark red. A little over-carbonated and has a slight metallic tang. A bit of hops add some bitterness. Tastes a little oily but a decent session beer.

Heavily carbonated with a small head smells yeasty and slightly flowery. Distinct hop presence adds a bite.

This beer poured a dark amber color with decent white head that left decent lacing around my glass. The aroma was of of fruit and toasted malt. The flavor was the same, but there was just a bit of hop presence providing some balance. Mouthfeel was okay. This was a decent beer, nothing flashly, but definitely drinkable.
