beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA Oct 5, 2008 On tap at the Brewery. Pours dark mahogany with a smooth off-white head. Nose of clove, not as big on the banana front as some of them. Body was a bit lighter, didn’t quite have the wheat smoothness, a bit lighter bodied and light estery finish. Decent beer overall, I just thought the body was a bit thin and watery. BuckeyeBoy (1639), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 8, 2008 On Tap at Full Sail Brewery, Hood River. Pours out a hazy brown topped with a white head. Aroma of spice, clove, and wheat. Tast of wheat some of the spice and a little hop. Not bad. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Aug 5, 2008 Pint - Full Sail Brewery - Hood River, OR
Aroma – Nice wheat aroma with a light hops nose.
Appearance – Brown in Color, Thin head and hazy.
Flavor – A very nice wheat beer the added fruity hops flavor also added to the clove and banana flavors.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, crisp texture with a dry finish.
Overall – This was a summer brewers special beer and this was very good. I liked the flavors was surprised with the dark wheat malts. Very tasty.
Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 10, 2008 On tap at Full Sail Pilsner Room in Portland, OR--Poured a murky brown-olive body with a small white head. Chewy, wheaten, mildly banana nose. Nutty, gritty, yet watered down in finish. Easy to slam back, but kind of boring. Still not bad.
