| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 18, 2003 Strong aroma of hops, very fresh crisp and clean. Finish is strongly bitter and slightly stringant. Strong alcohol feel. leitrim65 (398), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 11, 2003 Bottle was marked 2002. Old age might have had something to do with this one. Light amber color with long lasting white head. Unimpressive hoppy nose. The rest was downhill from there. jskendzel (602), Washington DC, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 7, 2003 Light amber in color. Hops come through more than usual for the style. Dry finish. Not sure that the higher alcohol adds a lot more complexity, but I do enjoy this beer more than some other regular pilsners. AustinMilbarge (681), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2003 Hazy, honey golden color. Not too much active carbonation. An aroma with slightly more hops than the typical pilsner. Pretty citrus-y for a pilsner, then again that can be expected coming from Full Sail. This is my favorite pilsner as of yet. Deep yellow with a hint of orange, very thick long lasting head. Aroma is an extra strong noble hops and malt. Hops bitterness is intense, malt starts to come out a little as does the alcohol, maybe just a little fruitiness. This “Pilsener” is a bit warming as it goes down. I’m enjoying this beer despite a slightly cloying sweetness that is coming on at the end.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 19, 2003 Orange. Thick orange head, collapsing. Nose is malty, and fruity as grape or vaguely citrus. Very hopbitter – so much that distinction between noble or bitterhops becomes moot. Citrussy retronasal, long. Mouthfeel is a bit oily, very full-bodied. Refreshing all the same. Nice. Given blind, Pilsener is the last thing I’d thought of.
