Bottle listed as Equinox Brewmasters Reserve. Not sure what made it part of the Brewmasters Reserve, but I really didn’t think much of the beer overall.

An aroma dominated by a soapy character that was pretty overwhelming that it just stepped on anything else that the beer was trying to give. Oxidation in the flavor with some offset earthy hops and some old malt flavor. This just didn’t ring my bell at all, and usually Full Sail beers are pretty tasty.

A hazy amber ale with a thin off white head. A musty hops aroma, doughy, sowing signs of oxidation. In mouth, a good malt, with nuttyness, and sustained British hops bitterness, with grapefruit in final. Medium bodied. Brewmaster reserv 2006. Bought at Booze Bros, August 2007.

Decent and drinkable, but not what I was looking for. This has a lot more fruitiness than I was expecting, with a really light caramel malt body, I just don’t feel the hop profile really matches everything else in the beer. Light sweet fruits, mixed with a sharp citrus hop bitterness.

Hazy amber, moderate head with solid lacing and retention. Aroma is fairly fruity with some lesser caramel notes. Medium to light bodied, moderate to low bitterness. Very drinkable, solid flavors.

dark golden amber with small off white head. caramel sweet aroma with a light orange tanginess. medium body and crisp carbonation. rich caramel flavors with a good bitterness. the beer has a pine resin bitter finish. pretty good beer, nothing too complicated, but simple and balanced

Bomber. Something like a caramel aroma backed by citrus hop. Hard to get a good smell, as the foam exceeds the liquid. Hazy gold tinged amber color. The head is huge, but it’s not lacing much. (It did lace a lot after the foam reduced 2/3s) Medium body with sharpish carbonation. Mild caramel with a bit of harsh floral and/or citrus hop. Pretty tasty. Waters out a bit at the finish, but it’s even more bitter at that point. Probably a bit extreme for most UK residents.

Yeah! Tasted in 2000 and loved ever since! Poured a copper amber body with a thin white head. Good lacing. Sweet citrus presence. Malty as well with a sweet bite to it. Sessionable as sin.

Had this beer on 8/27/1999. Color is a bright golden brown with good carbonation and a thin head. Aroma is a nice fresh hop scent. Taste is malty sweet, hoppy and oh so bitter. It starts with a medium body that has a bitterness in it right from the start. The finish starts as the beer goes down with a strong bitterness coming on and a light hop flavor.
