Aug 26, 2006 Pours a clear copper orange with a large, forthy, and well-lacing off-white head. Aroma of lightly toasty English malts and lots of earthy, mildly citric English hops. Body starts with a mild grainy earthy maltiness with a touch of lemon rind before a slightly more bitter dull finish. There’s a little too much citrus hop character and not enough sweetness for my liking.

Aug 20, 2006 Bottled. Pours a medium amber/ruby color. Aroma is somewhat sweet and malty. Some fruit, reminds me of Mandarin oranges. Light bitter and malty flavor up front. English tasting hops as well. Somewhat roasty. Finish has some more hoppy bitterness. A little grapefruit in the finish.

Aug 18, 2006 Light in alcohol and bitter. Light and refreshing.Lemon and hops. No depth at all but the biterness was present with only a bit of flavor to back it up.

Aug 18, 2006 Bottle. A nice slightly hazed amber color with a light tan head. An earthy aroma with hints of grass and peat. A wood (slightly vine like), burnt malt, and floral (but not like an IPA floral) flavor. It is smooth and not sweet with a wood malt finish.

Aug 8, 2006 Cloudy golden-amber. Earthy, fruity (peach, pear) aroma. Woody, earthy flavour with light citrus and some dusty yeastiness. Quite bitter but without much complexity.

Aug 7, 2006 22 oz. Bottle: Murky copper with a small off-white head and spotty lacing. Malty, spicy aroma as well as flowers and yeast. Nice bitter taste with a grainy malt aftertaste. Also, some perfumy notes in the flavor as well. The medium body is refreshing and easy to drink.
