Tonight’s quaff: Full Sail Brewing "Grandsun of Spot" IPA. A new beer from the dedicated folks in Hood River, Oregon. Amber body with a lively off-white head. Aroma is fruity. Taste is pink grapefruit, some resinous pine notes from the hops. Plenty of sweet malts to accompany the hop bitterness. Medium dry bitter finish. Nice IPA people. Note: Must love hops! This beer is part of the Brewmasters Reserve Series 2009.

Dec 13, 2009 Hazy orange with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with hops, pine and malty notes. Flavour was quite hoppy with grapeffruits, pine and malty notes. Quite nice. Finished dry and bitter.

Dec 10, 2009 bottle thanks to bhensonb. poured hazy orange with a white head that laced the glass. aroma was citrus, orange, pine, and fruity. flavor was pine, orange, bitter, and grass??. medium-low body. thanks again bill for one of many beers!! cheers my friend.

Light unclear medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, fruity, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange - citrus, peach. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy peel bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090922]

Nov 23, 2009 NEarly transparent brown-orange pour, short off-white head. Aroma is good but not exceptional, hops tend to resin/spruce with a hint of grapefruit. Medium body with a honey maltiness in the background. Not too complex, good mouth feel - a session IPA.

Pours orange, thick off-white head.
Aroma is hoppy, nice fresh hop nose, citrus/grapefruit, some pine, just beautiful aroma.
Flavor, not a hop bomb, but plenty to be noticed, nice grapefruit palate, pine, with thin malty presence. Easy to drink, medium bitterness with a nice cirsp malty finish. Just love the whole fresh hop aspect.
