Almost black in colour. Thin head. Inky/chocolate aroma. Bitter roast flavour. A dry, irish-style porter.

Slight smokey aroma, mocha/caramalt flavour. Not extremely complex but it's still a good flavour. Finishes with a bold hop presence that lets you know it's definately not english.

Thanks to Gregory for this bottle. Was looking for a little more in this one. Nothing wrong with. It just tasted like any other porter.

Aroma of coffee and roasted wood. Taste is smooth but grainy, with a frothy head and a nice even finish. Taste similar to Fullers. Lets you believe you're drinking coffee.

Thin off white head, disappeared quickly. Deep dark body, chestnut brown. Roastey nose with hints of milk chocolate and vanilla. Slightly burnt tongue, a dry roastey barley finish. A little weak in body and complexity, but a phat session porter, very drinkable.

I dunno, i just found this to be extremely pleasant while nursing the flu bug. It pours a brownish black mix with ruby in the light and very small head if any. The aroma is coffee and chocolate with definite caramel malt presence, very sweet. The taste is smokey and coffee like with caramel malts taking over and little to no signs of bitterings qualities. Very dry malty finish, sweet, but i can understand how people see little body in this as it is a very easy drink, too easy some might say. I happen to like the smokey addition to this brew, it does it well...carbonation is medium. Nicely done, and thank you beerguy101.
