Commercial Description:
Hangtime is brewed to celebrate the long days and warm nights of summer. This refreshing crystal (filtered) wheat ale has a bright golden hue and a crisp easy finish. It has a sweet malt flavor that comes from wheat malt. This light bodied ale is hopped with Brewers Gold hops. Their fruity character balances the malt sweetness and gives the beer a hint of citrus aroma and flavor. Hangtime Ale is a satisfying, easy drinking, summertime brew. Hangtime is available June to September.

Nice looking crystal wheat beer. Theres certainlly quite a bit of wheat in this beer as evidenced in the taste..a doughy wheat flavour with a citrus style "zing"..overall a great summer beer..I drank the whole six in one 3 hour sitting very easily.

Good wheat aroma. This is a no frills beer with wheat flavor throughout. A good example true to style.

Generously given a 3 for appearance for this golden bodied, thick creamy fluff headed am wheat. Invigorating aroma of wheat fielsd and a complimentary flavor. Eventually, a wave of hops rise and dominate in aroma and flavor. A nicely rounded out, moderately complex AM. wheat. The back bone of bitterness stands in favorable equipoise to the wheat.

A fairly enjoyable American wheat, granted this style is never going to blow anyone's socks off but I think this one is fairly flavorful, with a nice wheat aroma, perceptable (though slight) bitterness, nad a nice Kolsch-like palate and drinkability Full Sail has been throwing alot of these non-descript middleweight beers at the wall to see what will stick, and this is my favorite so far.

Deep gold color. Medium head. Aroma is fruity and a touch sweet. A medium bodied wheat. Wheats are very evident in this beer, but they are balanced by some very citrusy hops. Lighter taste, but still has some flavor. Light and refreshing. Very drinkable. A nice summer seasonal from Full Sail. Well balanced. Smooth taste. A great summer beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

lots of banana esthers, pale yellow with a small head, strawy then herbal hoppiness and a bready yeast finish featuring pleasant fruity hop notes, an incredibly refreshing beer but also a horrible looking one

I am admittedly not a wheat beer fanatic, but I bit the bullet and bought a sixer of the Hangtime...and was very glad I did. Typical straw colored look with minimal head, but there is this aroma snaking through the foam that is not native wheat: citrusy hoppiness and I must say very appealing fruitiness coming from those (I'm assuming) Brewers Gold hops. Just enough malt to balance the hops while not stepping all over the crisp nature of the style. The malt suffers a tad from metallic finish, but this is the only thing I found to be actually displeasing with the beer. Not a great beer for sipping, but an excellent beer for drinking.

Seems like Full Sail may be moving a little towards more non-descript beers. This is still a nice brew. Citrus aroma, with a nice hop finish. Golden yellow coloring, with a medium head. Flavor is slightly hoppy, mostly balanced with malts. Mouthfeel is nice, not watery, but not overly thick. Another winner from Full Sail, but not they’re best offering.
