22oz. bottle. poured pitch black, tan head. Sweet roasty chocolate aroma. Bitter coffee flavor, not real smooth, coats the tongue with coffee aftertaste. Okay overall

Shared by JCB. Pours a dark black with a thin creamy tan head. The nose is raosty, sweet, chocolate, some coffee. Flavor is a bit thin, some waxy hops, bitter coffee and bakers chocolate. Waxy mouthfeel.

2008 bomber. Pours deep black with a medium body. Not to thick but definitely not that thin. Aroma lends a boozy note that is overcome by roasted malts and dark fruits. Flavor of this one follows in step with the aroma. It offers a roasted malty flavor with the alcohol not hidden all that well. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness. Overall it’s an average imperial stout. Not bad, but I’ve definitely had better.

This sample from a 22 oz courtesy of someone awesome, I just forget who specifically. Also had a bit at a tasting here in Tampa, which was provided by Jayg. The aroma is chocolate, dark fruit, medium roast bitter and a hint of smokiness. The body is full black and holds a slowly diminishing, thumb thick mocha head which leaves some mild lacing. Charry, burnt, bitter roast and dark chocolate with some low key sweet dark fruit notes. Hints of caramel, but the burnt/roast bitterness suppress it. Pretty bog flavor for what is a low end of the abv spectrum, for an American Imperial Stout. Very soild.

On tap at Full Sail tap room in Hood River, OR--Poured a deep black (slightly brown) body. Syrupy, chocolaty and thick. Rich complex notes and flavors. Chocolate, toffee, dark fruits, and finished with a great mild bitterness and creamy grittiness.

Bomber, full sail has so damn dissapointing lately I expect this to suck suck suck. 2008 Vintage. Nice black pour with a good old brown head. dead nose. Thin taste. This is barely beer let alone an impy stout.

Draft. Pitch black with a nice solid tan head. Toffee on the nose and in the mouth. Very burned tasting. Certainly not bad, but really not very good for the style, either.
