Commercial Description:
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It's a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn't bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

strong, bitter hops. tasted some citrus and chocolate. nice, classic appearance. bitter, strong hops starts strong and has a very nice aftertaste. our bottle was very, very carbonated. not the most diverse ipa ive had.

I suppose this is what a session IPA would taste like, but my palate has been so over-hopped that it does not taste like much at all.

Bottle. Pours golden orange. Little to no head and moderate lacing. The flavor is a bit lacking and finishes less bitter than a normal IPA. Not too bad, it just lacks the kick of a normal IPA. Have another? If its all you have...

Pours out a nice orangy amber with a decent white head, fairly appetizing. Aroma is not particularly strong, and is surprisingly malty, almost more malty than hoppy. Flavor is not typical of an IPA - there is not a whole lot of hoppiness - but the texture is good, and the taste nicely balances malt and hops and pleases. Finish is a little bitter and has just a whisper of fruit.

Pours a transparent golden color with a nice foam filled white head. Hoppy aroma as expected with an IPA. Taste of fruit with a less the overpowering aftertaste of bitter hops. I was surprised by the subtle hops in this IPA. Overall its a good IPA, but not great. Single 12 oz. bottle Reviewed on: 11-06-2008

Hazy orange color non existent head and no carbonation a lifeless looking brew. Honey and citrus aroma ending in a mild hay smell. Heavy malt taste then a more subdued hops as opposed to other boutique brewers. An even and dry palate is the best aspect of this beer. A mild yet safe choice in the US IPA category.

Lame and bland IPA pretty seriously lacking in any real flavor or character. Very little hoppiness and a little bit of bland floral scent. Not so hot this one.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick creamy head with fair duration, and attractive lacing over a dark golden clear body....nose primarily of bitter hopping, with a bit of floral, no real pine or resin, some malt....taste initially is of bready malt, then evolves into a rather lingering hop bitterness, including grapefruit and peach pit tones, mouth feel pleasantly carbonated. This may be a little too hop bitter, with not quite enough hop floral to be typical of an English style IPA.
