Commercial Description:
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It's a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn't bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

Pours a deep golden with a mild head. Decent lacing on the glass. Smell is a good bit hoppy, strong and with maybe just a cinch of a weird, hard to describe undertone. Just smells like fresh hop. Flavor is quite appropriate for an IPA, though leaning more strongly towards a malt flavor. Good, thick beer with a nice hop/malt balance. A very good but relatively non descript IPA that reminds me a good bit of IPAs from local breweries.

This is a pretty standard bill of fare as far as IPAs go. There’s nothing special to it, though it it very well made, but nothing more than a decent session IPA. Generic hop nose, a little herbal and citrusy, but the bite is worse than the bark. The nose comes across quite strong only to lead into a weak body with a light cereal maltiness and a fair amount of hop bitterness in the finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden orange with small but sticky whitish head. The aroma is herbal hops, melon, grain, and a little bit of earth. The flavor is quite bready with a fair amount of herbal bitterness. There are a few fruity melon notes in there with a grainy sweetness. The finish is slightly bitter and strongly resembles toasted biscuits. Earthy and spicy aftertaste. Decent.

Bottle (12oz). Cleaar amber, smallish white head. Simple aroma of ripe tropical fruit, funky citrus bitterness, a little acidic. The taste is both fruity and dry, a little papery, generic grapefruit pith bitterness in the finish. Average body, solidly bitter, decent carbonation, long dry acidic bitter finish - just a decent IPA, nothing special, but would drink it again.

12 oz bottle from a trade with douglas88. pours orange with minimal head or carbonation. the aroma of this is awesome. my mouth actually waters every time i smell this brew. beautiful hop malt balance with neither one over powering each other. it has so much balance and the hops and malts compliment each other so well. the flavour leaves something to be desired. i really dont like being teased with a great aroma and then let down by a watery body. overall quite enjoyable but i wish the flavours were on par with the rest. thanks doug!

Bottle pours gold with a small rapidly dissapearing head. The aroma has a sharp malty scent and a hint of hops. The flavor has a strong malt flavor, is bitter and dry as is the finish. Not much complexity to the flavor. There are much better but I have no complaints about this beer.

Honey/amber pour with frothy head that stays well. Aroma is very pleasant floral and herbal hops with some citrus sweetness. Flavor is fairly subdued hops that fades rapidly from the palate. Smooth medium mouthfeel that could use a touch more effervescence. Very nice, but not the best.

Pours a transparent bright copper bronze with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of slightly piny hops and pale malts. Body starts lightly sweet and pale malty with some earthy bittering hoppiness before a drier, more bitter finish. Lacks the crisp, fresh hoppy character of most west-coast IPAs.
