| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden amber color with decent head and nice lacing. The nose is light citrus hops with a bit of pine. Palate is light malt and an overly bitter grapefruit aftertaste that lingers for a while. Not one of the better IPAs I’ve had. drfabulous (1240), Columbia, Missouri, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2008 English style. You get that "musty" hops taste. Less pine, less intense. After eating Mexican all day in Austin, it’s a nice break before the heavy drinking. BeerZack (116), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 5, 2008 Clear shiny copper color with a white one-finger head that quickly settles to a thin ring of foam that leaves some decent lace.
Sweet and slightly roasty grainy impression, caramalt.
Tastes like it smells. Mostly a light roasted grain impression, bit of yeastiness and a clean herbal hop bittering finish.
Medium-heavy carbonation with a medium body. Decent IPA on the mild side with clean balanced bitterness reminiscent of some high hopped American Pale Ale or "Amber". mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 2, 2008 A fair IPA that could have more hoppiness. I will admit to liking Wreck the Halls more and this doesn’t stand up. jarndyce (38), Idaho, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Bottle. Bought at Trader Joe’s. Fairly strong fruity/citrus aroma. Solid flavor. Medium blonde color. Nice head. A cavalcade of whimsy in my mouth. A potential session beer. A very balanced IPA. Would stock this one in my fridge. I paid $5.99 for a sixpack. A total bargain. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 28, 2008 Bottle. White small head that mostly diminished, sparse amount of lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and a yellow golden hue. Nose was caramel, hoppy, semi-sweet, and fruity. Dittl for the flavor Tingly mouthfeel and light-medium body. Nothing special about this one IMO, rather a boring beer, and not one I’ll seek out again. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Sampled @ Hallandale beer fest (bottle). Honey color, just off-clear. Bright fruity hoppy nose. Nice thin but straight palate with a thin line of hop all the way through. Sessionable IPA. travita (1910), Frisco, Texas, USA
