Hops aroma is evident as soon as you pop the top on the bottle. Hoppy, but the taste is balanced by the malt, this is an english-style IPA. Pretty smooth and high on the drinkability scale. I would have again. Delirium (502), Santa Cruz, California, USA

Aroma is honey malt and grain and some assorted hops. Flavor is sweetish malt, with some bittering hops and a bit of grapefruit, and a somewhat bitter lingering finish. Not a super-hoppy west coast IPA, but not unreasonably weak either. Not spectacular, but I rather like it, and it’s a step above other IPAs of this style. can8ianben (914), Pasadena, California, USA

There isn’t much here besides some sweet syrupy malt and a bunch of aromatic hops. Its a very drinkable beer, and it isn’t a passive attept like some others make. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2007 A yellowish orange appearance. Orange, grapefruit, and pine in the aroma. The flavor is somewhat bitter but not over the top with more grapefruit, orange peels, and lemons. Overall this is a pretty good IPA. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Negligible lacing. Strong bitter taste with a surprisingly smooth finish. Very drinkable or quaffable as I’m told to say. This was my third beer tonight, so I may re-rerate this beer, but all in all an excellent beer for the price.
