Commercial Description:
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It's a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn't bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

First pour seems well enough, following the intial looks of golden beer with cream colored head. the hops is the very thing that hits you with its strong citrus overtones. the beer its self falls short leaving with hops aftertaste.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarket - 12 oz bottle - surprise find - brewery is a sentimental favorite of mine having visited it in 2001. Solid west coast sprucey aroma, dark golden to light. orange pour with a thin but sticky white head. Cascade hops evident, with sticky grapefruity goodness with some nectarine notes as well. Could use just a bit more balance. Hints of mint in the back end. Mouthfeel - tart and tangy - but not tongue numbing. Overall, a good everyday IPA and I hope it is a sign of more from this brewery making it into Florida.

Nice amber color. Rather fruity in the nose, with some orange peel and hops. Malt body is slightly sweet, with somewhat mild hopping.

Bonus from Kenb. Thanks! Pours a nice light copper almost gold with a nice sticky fluffy head and good lace. On the first whifff you can tell this is heavily hopped with tons of english hops. Cedary, earthy, dirty, floral hops and a tea-like quality with low malt profile. Much of the smae hops in the flavor but has a tea-like astringency and some fruit- like apricots in the middle. Pretty decent english IPA. Very drinkable.

Deep golden in color with sparkling effervescence; head is just shy of average, brilliant white, and creamy/fluffy with some decent longevity and some random lacing. Nose is simple and pleasant; nice backing of biscuity, cookie sweetness with hops of citrus and light herbal/floral. Very clean and sessionable taste; notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, and grass hit the forefront of a just over moderate bitterness with a touch of cookie sweetness as a note to not let the hops completely dominate. Palate is medium, lively, and almost still creamy, yet remaining refreshing. Finishes longer than expected with the cookie notes fading into nothing leaving the bitterness all alone only for a second with mild, crisp herbal notes. It certainly does not have the alphas of many other American-made IPA’s, but it is an incredibly drinkable and refreshing English style IPA. Not for hopheads, but still a simple, clean, session IPA.

A 12oz bottle thanks to Illinismitty. A full citrusy aroma with just a tad of an off finishing aroma keep it from scoring higher. At first glance I thought it was a clear golden pour but the other half was more of a coppery orange. A clinging lace. A flavor that really reminds me of grapefruit laced with apples. I must be missing the malt in this one. I get almost all hops. A nice bitter all over your tongue that is a clean hops bitter. The palate is just too fizzy for my taste. I may be too critical of this beer. I would be happy if I had made it and it turned out this good. Thanks Sean.

Picked this one up a while ago for a trade and finally cracking one open. The smell is really good. Nice crisp flavor and very refreshing at 6% ABV. The overall drinkability for this beer is really great. The look is prob. the only thing really holding this down. Nice flavor followed by a crisp finish.
