Commercial Description:
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It's a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn't bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

Picked this one up a while ago for a trade and finally cracking one open. The smell is really good. Nice crisp flavor and very refreshing at 6% ABV. The overall drinkability for this beer is really great. The look is prob. the only thing really holding this down. Nice flavor followed by a crisp finish.

Bottle... Poured a calm golden, honey tone with a frothy white head and nice lacing afterwords. Aroma of hops, grass... very earthy. Really smooth palate with flavors of hops and spices, maybe something like a touch honey for sweetness. Finished with smooth malt. This one is pretty well done for my liking.

Bottle from Sean. Thanks. Pours out an orange to yellow color with a white head. Smell is pretty hoppy with a touch of earthy flavors. Taste is smooth and rich, not really hoppy. Pretty much just below average, nothing really going on in this beer. Tastes like an IPA, but there are hundreds of better ones out there.

Clear orange colour with a white fine foam head that was miedium sized and shrunk down to a coating on top as a drank. The aroma was light but hoppy. The flavour is mostly bitter on the pallate with a slight bit of malt taste in there. The bitterness tastes more resin and pine but still hints at some grapefruity flavours. Well balanced, nice an dbitter standard and drinkable IPA.

Bottle: best by 04 11 07. Nice and fresh! The aroma is totally that of an IPA, just a little subdued and more citrus than hops (pine). Looks great, light orange, totally clear with tons of bubbles. Small head with quite a bit of lacing. Flavor is bitter with small amounts of orange. Alcohol isn’t apparent unless eaten with fried food (not recommended! yuck!). Lots of carbonation, but goes down smooth. I had this beer a year ago and it had a very harsh finish that it definitely does not have anymore. It’s very drinkable and wouldn’t make a bad session beer. Not very complex, and not nearly as bitter or hoppy as other examples of the style. The aftertaste is a little funny, kind of metallic and bitter but not in the way of hop bitterness. The beer suffers because of it. Not bad, but not really any reason to buy the stuff when there are better alternatives out there.

Bottle from Mr. G’s in Plano, TX. Pours pale amber with an off white head. Very nice european influenced aroma which is very floral, along with some spice, sweet lemon and sourdough. Medium thin body and texure. Flavor is not very aggressive from the american approach to IPA’s. However, it has tame but balanced flavors of pale malts, bitter herbal hops, citrus, and biscuit. Sweet, citrusy, and mild bitter finish. Very interesting English style IPA with a slight fusion of american and german characteristics. It’s nice to have a IPA that stands out in the crowd.

12 oz bottle. Copper-amber color with creamy head. Sweet and a bit sticky toffee aroma along with flowery hops. Sweetish, mellow and soft flavor with firm bitterness and fruity-flowery hops. A bit too sweet.
