| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Bottled. Honey colored body, clear and topped with a giant, off-white head that leaves behind lots of lace. The body is medium with lots of dry, foamy carbonation; the finish is a touch watery. The aroma is musky and sour, somehwat wheaty and fruity. A touch of honey. Flavor is lightly malty throughout with mild honey and sugar. The hops are grapefruit and a touch of pine. Some fruity character--apricot. Touch woody. Sweat and leather in the flavor too, along with some generic beer flavor. Rather plain. Nothing stands out. bb (2941), Martinez, California, USA

Grapefruit flavor with a very little caramel backing. Body is a bit too light. Some lingering bitterness, but not enough hops anywhere.
