Commercial Description:
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It's a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn't bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

12 oz bottle. Boring IPA. Gold pour, white head. Sweetness, grain, malt, and some citrus and hops. Fairly bland, but not offensive.

Full Sail IPA 7/8/09 (bottle . . . and quite disappointing. Pours gold with average head. Aroma has pale malt sweetness, some faint grains, and possibly a touch of floral hops. DEFINITELY not enough, nor pronounced enough. Flavor was more in line with a Golden Ale or Kolsch than either a firm Pale Ale, or an average American IPA. Not a whole bunch going on here, but on the flipside, not an unpleasant flavor either. Finish is clean, grassy, and mildly bitter.

Big fan of Full Sail, the brewery, and several of their beers. I was very excited to try their IPA and was quickly disappointed. A - Pours a crystal clear golden straw. Questions marks began in my head upon seeing as most IPAs I’m fond up are darker. S - Actually, if I closed my eyes.....I would have guessed I was smelling an Amber. Maybe not quite as bready/malty as most good Ambers but certainly less hoppy than a Pale Ale and not even close to the aroma present in most quality IPAs. T - Tastes like a decent Pale Ale to me. Very very little bitterness and certainly not much in hop flavor. Maybe a tad citrus, but malt flavors are more prevalent. M - Solid mouthfeel. Not too thin, not too substantial. Has the mouthfeel of a session beer, D - This isn’t a bad beer, just not a good IPA. If you are looking for hops, steer clear of this one. It’s certainly plenty drinkable if you’re a fan of Pale Ales.

Bottle into an Imperial pint glass. Pale orang/yellow color with a thin head. Slight citrus aroma. Seemed more like a pale ale than an English style IPA. Not bad at all but not great either. I’d drink it again but wont seek it out.

Golden orange in color.. Floral hops aroma... Flavor is light and slightly bitter of floral hops, with an overly bitter palate... Okay beer, not great, but not terrible

12 oz. Pours a golden with small white head. Aroma is sweet carmel malts, mild citrus hops. Fits the style well. I prefer west coast hop bombs.

Pour is a bright golden color with high carbonation and a creamy whitish head. Smells strongly of grapefruit and kiwi. Sharp peppery attack, some vanilla, lots of grapefruit. Medium hops on the finish. This beer goes down smoothly. A lighter IPA but well balanced and delicious.
