Commercial Description:
This English style IPA is a full-flavored, full-bodied brew that has a big bold malt character and intense aromatics. It's a well-balanced, golden-colored brew that has a crisp hop finish that doesn't bite. With its palate cleansing finish, IPA is a perfect for highly spiced dishes with curry, ginger, garlic or cumin. This classic English style IPA is brewed with: 2-row Pale malt and is hopped with Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops

Somewhat less offensive than other IPA’s I’ve sampled. Has an odd aroma though. VERY pretty pour.

medium brown color with mild head. Nothing special if you ask me. Hoppy, but not enough for me.

Amber color with a moderate white head. Hoppy and spicy aroma. Hop flavor, but nothing really stands out. Decent stuff, but not memorable.

Bottle. Golden pour, little carbonation and a some very bitter hop aroma on the nose. Flavor was malt and some funky hops and finished kind of on an off flavor. An ok beer, would like to try it on tap in case I had a bad bottle.

Bottle. Aroma of butter cracker malt, some grassy and floral hops. Flavor sweet caramel malt with bittering hops. It’s not bad, but not what I’m looking for in my IPA.

My Bottom Line:
This lean and clean IPA quenches with its balance of biscuity, toasted malts and floral, citrusy hops, yet is not able to outshine most PNW examples I’ve had.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the transparent coppery pale amber.
-The light bubbling and slick body make for optimal drinkability, which is why I will never mind having a few of these. But with all the other IPAs out there...
-The finish is slightly wooden and resinous.
-The malt character is also a tad honeyed and caramelized.
-This is super clean, but I guess its intrinsic lack of personality will make it hard to remember.

Bottles.

12oz bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a clear, medium gold with a 2 finger white head. Toasted malts and a light herbal hop nose. Malt and cereal grain for flavor, crisp finish.
