| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Bottle. Aroma of butter cracker malt, some grassy and floral hops. Flavor sweet caramel malt with bittering hops. It’s not bad, but not what I’m looking for in my IPA. MartinT (5080), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 17, 2009 Updated: Feb 22, 2009My Bottom Line:
This lean and clean IPA quenches with its balance of biscuity, toasted malts and floral, citrusy hops, yet is not able to outshine most PNW examples I’ve had.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the transparent coppery pale amber.
-The light bubbling and slick body make for optimal drinkability, which is why I will never mind having a few of these. But with all the other IPAs out there...
-The finish is slightly wooden and resinous.
-The malt character is also a tad honeyed and caramelized.
-This is super clean, but I guess its intrinsic lack of personality will make it hard to remember.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 4, 2009 light bodied in color with a decent hop bite to it, and some mild citrus aromatics. Rather ordinary PNW IPA. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 2, 2009 From a very fresh bottle. Clear copper amber with a dense one finger off white head. Left a very good amount of fine bubble lacing. Aroma is piney hops and some caramel. Taste is earthy bitter hops with a modest amount of malts. About halfway the bitterness becomes more pronounced and the grapefruit rind takes over. Carbonation is just right and the finish is dry bitterness. Overall a fine IPA from Full Sail. jkwalking05 (1501), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 29, 2009 12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured mostly transparent light dirty copper, low carbonation, half finger off white head formed and tried to lace to the best of it’s ability. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, with notes of caramel and malt in the background. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is present but a shade weak, hops evenly distributed come in the middle and finish. It serves it’s purpose, and it works in my book.
