Pours a transparent bright copper bronze with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of slightly piny hops and pale malts. Body starts lightly sweet and pale malty with some earthy bittering hoppiness before a drier, more bitter finish. Lacks the crisp, fresh hoppy character of most west-coast IPAs.

Jul 18, 2008 Aroma is a sour malt scent with just a hint of hops. Color is a bright clear gold with very good carbonation and a thick head. Taste is hoppy and peppery. Starting with medium body it goes down crisp. Finish comes in with a little malt and a bold spicy hop flavor that ends with a pepper taste and a mellow bitterness. After taste is clean yet dry as the spicy taste builds a bit. This is a tasty, easy drinking brew and is a different take on an IPA.

Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear bubbly orange-copper with an average size diminishing white head. Mild aroma of resiny hops, sweet malt and citrus fruit. Flavour follows the aroma with resiny hops, citrus fruit and sweet malt -- flavour could be a little hoppier initially, the hops are mainly in the finish. Decent bitter finish. Average bodied.
Doesn’t blow me away but still a good IPA.

Jul 6, 2008 Pale orange pour. Actually this was a little disapointing. Not very well balanced and too sililar to a pale ale.

Jul 3, 2008 Pale orange color, rather clear. Sharp palate but a poor and harsh taste on the throat. Aroma is horrible... a bad sort of bitter. Taste was worse. In my opinion this been never should’ve been made... horrible. Bring out the tar and feathers!!
