Aromas were nice caramel an nice malts. Flavor fell off a bit with still malty characters, but a weird bitterness that I didn’t really like. Not Horrible though. Seems fairly straight forward and tasty - Nicely grainy with a hint of rye. I could see this being a tasty session ale tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2007 Bottle shared with SpringsLicker, Suttree, and decaturstevo. Pours a reasonably dark amber with small ecrue head. The aroma is on the malty side with some hay and orange peel. The flavor is grain and crackers at first, then some cotton candy. The finish is clean with a slight dry touch. Ok. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 20, 2007 Translucent amber pour with a thin, fizzy, quickly dissipating beige head. The aroma is timid, with notes of toasted grains, tired caramel, vanilla extract, biscuit malts, grass and dank mold. The flavor is quite toasted/roasty, with a grainy and ashen mouthfeel and low, soft but adequate carbonation and a medium body with watery pockets. Sweetness is medium, bitterness light-medium, acidity very low. The finish is slowly drying, caramel and toasted grain lingering. Pretty drinkable but rather uninteresting. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

8/13/2007: Full Sail LTD 01 is clear and amber in color with a thin, frothy beige head. The aroma is toasted caramel malt and a bit of vanilla and oak. The flavor is malty and deep with notes of chewy caramel, roasted malt, and maybe even a hint of chocolate. The finish gets more dry and dark as the beer warms. The flavor and alcohol are strong, yet controlled and very smooth. The body is medium to medium-full. I like this one quite a bit. It’s very tasty with a nice depth to it. One could easily drink bottle after bottle of this beer and not tire of it!

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Draft at the 3 Rivers restaurant in Hood River - Poured a dark amber in color with a small whitish head. Aroma is of caramel and roasted malts. Flavor was mildly of malts with a very small hint of hops. Very mildly bitter on the finish. Both flavor and aroma were very mild. I would like to have had bolder brew. Kind of "ho-hum"... TheKegergator (241), California, USA

Smell is light sweet, light everything. Really lacking here. Taste is simple..light sweetness, malt, with hardly any bitter finish.
