| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours an amber chesnut, thin tan head. Aroma is very corn syrupy, a small amount of fruit, and an almost English touch round it out. Flavor is a bit fruity as well, some malty notes present too. Not bad, not a style that I would usually seek out though. brianprentiss (475), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 26, 2007 Very solid lager, one of the better ones you could try, full sail has done it again. Rathery nutty and malty with sweet syrupy aftertaste. JK (2952), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 21, 2007 Darker than most lagers. This one has some body and flavor. Some hop flavor and a grainy character. Good palate and goes down very well. Alcohol is a little high for a dunkel. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Dark copper color with a medium head. A stale apple aroma with hay and grass. Strong, bitter taste, but nothing other than bitter malt. It’s like a dark IPA made with Noble hops. Interesting. alkisvt (10), seattle, Washington, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 17, 2007 pured a color of amber.smallish very off-white head, dissapated fast.tasted ofsweet freshly mowed grass, with undertones of hops and pine nut.I pured this at room temp as soon as I got home, and still found it to be very drinkable considering it is a lager!Usually I drink lagers on the cold side. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 16, 2007 Bottle Pours a clear dep redish copper with a very small skin of a light tan head. Carmel malty aroma. Fairly sweet carmel malt flavor. Slight papery and very smooth and moderately rich palate. Low carbonation and very little bitter trailer. Like a light bock.
Not bad. Dickinsonbeer (3451), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 14, 2007 Pours a deep copper with moderate carbonation and a thin off white head. There is a fresh bready toastiness in the aroma with a spicy european hop character- slihgtly nutty- almonds and some light chocolate hints. Clean light crystal and munich malts, some bittersweet chocolate hints with a spicy almost metallic hop hint throughout the finish and is quite bitter for the style. Definitely a wierd astringent and artificial sweetness as well in the end. Not quite a true munich dunkel, jsut a dark lager which wasnt that good. zamco17 (134), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
