Healthy head on the pour settles quickly, but lacing is pretty decent. Aroma is very light, with notes of grass and sugar. Rolls very nicely along the tongue for a lager. Not much bite, but neither is it overly sweet. It’s better than a number of European dunkels that I’ve had, but not memorable. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2008 Poured a copper/brown color with decent white head that dissipated quickly and left minimal lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet maltiness. Flavor is brown sugar, toffee, and caramel. Mouthfeel of this beer is pleasant and is properly carbonated. Drinkability is pretty good. Not complex but decent brew.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is a sweet malt with brown sugar and raisin. The taste is a light sweet malt with a clean finish. Very easy to drink and a good dunkel from Full Sail. hopscotch (5507), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 13, 2008 Bottle… Clear amber ale with copper highlights and a small, fizzy, white head. Roasted aroma with notes of caramel and toffee. Medium-bodied with intermediate carbonation. Toasted, bittersweet, caramel malt flavor. Slightly more sweet than bitter. Caramelized finish. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Courtesy Irishboy. Pours a crystal clear deep amber color with a tiny off white head. The aroma is on the fruity side. Cranberry and apple, and sweet sugary malts make up the nose. The flavor is much the same. Alot of that cranberry, and maybe even some pomegranate is noticeable. Pretty easy drinking, but not a great representation of this style at all. Needs more body and complexity for certain. Drinkable, but not much else. milljam (584), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
