| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 27, 2008 surprisingly fruity aroma and flavor. good malts profile, im curious about what kind of yeast was used. this beer is almost ale-ish until the finish and then it’s clean and somewhat dry. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 26, 2008 12 oz bottle via Roth’s. Pours a clear copper with an average beige head. Nose is malted grains. Taste is toasty, a bit of honey, and some earthy hops. Body is medium, carbonation is moderate. A decent American lager, although i like their Session lager better. scrizzz (1323), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2008 I’m always happy to see such color to a lager. amber/bronze, small head formed, disappeared quickly to almost nothing. some orange zest in the aroma, otherwise clean moderate weight to the roast aroma. clean and simple, though that’s how i likes me lager. has a bit more of that orange flavor and some brown sugar like most winter beers, but all of the peripheral notes are faint and don’t distract from what it is. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 23, 2008 Updated: Aug 4, 2009had to special order 2 cases to my store, i got to my store and only 1 was left... Is like a slightly fuller FS session... has some good foam, nothing ’overboard’ ..("good stuff") .... contains some nice enjoyable flavours but I honestly think it falls a bit short of a ’limited edition batch beer’ i mean it is enjoyable , but lacks some star power... flavour is of bittered hops, golding and such and maybe slight honey.... A simple beer with no real frills but seems to do the job... Full sail: i am looking forward to Batch 3
!.. but don’t keep this around, you got more in those brains of yours!!..and abv is perfect!!
rerate, sigh! a boring beer on the second look, both scores averaged! GarrettB (494), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 23, 2008 "Limited Edition" always gets my hopes up. As if it were so good it had to be limited; exclusive and otherwise untouchable by anybody but the most privileged. Sadly, this beer is average in almost way, though by no means disappointing. While the head might be a pallid wet paper gray, the triumphant geyser of carbonation rushing through the crystal clear amber-orange valley of beer is a sight for anyone’s sore eyes at the end of a work day. The smell is lightly sweet, graceful in a way, with honeydew melon, orange flesh, honey and a little scent of raw but sweet corn. The flavor does much less for the drinker, losing most of the aroma’s sweeter edge and taking on an excessively bitter, slightly grainy taste. The flavor starts a little sweet, which shifts to a roasted and burnt caramel finish by taste’s end. Still, it is more flavorful then most lagers, though probably less then "Limited Edition" might suggest. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2008 This comes across kind of assertive on the palate, and then drops off into nothing on the finish. Very dry, but very clean and crisp, extremely simple. Not very special, I honestly expected more, the limited part must be in reference to the palate, you’re limited to not tasting anything in this beer, limited to using small ingredients. I could keep going...Remiscent of Session, but I actually like Session. nimbleprop (936), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA

Crisp, malt aroma with a hint of orange. Aroma is malty, sweet with a touch of grass. Dry finish. Nothing outrageous, certainly a session beer.
