Aug 2, 2007 Copper hued pour, thin consistency. Sweet potatoes and corn on the nose. Metallic. A bit hot and sulphuric. Biscuity flavor in general with a kind of iron and lemon tang. Ample and decently proportioned. Starts to get a little funky as it warms. Mint leaves and maybe some mild juniper berries. Lightly dry finish with a wave of thick malts. Brown sugar smacks a little sweet. More or less weightless in the mouth. Smooth and weirdly interesting.

Aug 1, 2007 orange body with not much head.nice simple blend of caramel malts,citrus hops,and a small fruity finish.boats the sum of the aroma plus some wheat and grain thrown in on the after taste.for a lager the body is nice and full.pretty good stuff i must say.

Jul 29, 2007 Decent bront color with crisp head. Grainy, soft malting in aroma--not bad. Flavor defies easy interpretation. Mouthwash of alcohol with spikes of grain. Hopping is barely noticeable.

Jul 29, 2007 Draft at Full Sail in Hood River on 7/21/07. Clear gold under a small off white head. Light grainy aroma with a hint of citrus. Light body, medium carbonation, and a twinge of stickiness. There is a light sweetness that continues into the finish, with not quite enough hop influence to dry things out enough. It wasn’t cloying, but the subtle persistent sweetness Just didn’t appeal to me.

Jul 27, 2007 Today, the temperature is about one zillion degrees in my house. You see, we have this tiny condo, which has absolutely no circulation and the hot air just sits stagnant. So, I sat home today and man I slurped this shit down all day like it was water. This is actually damn nice as far as lagers go. It’s light and refreshing, but it’s definitely got more balls than many other lagers I have had and the hops are actually very present. This is really good.

Jul 26, 2007 Perfume hops combine with caramel apple in the aroma. Brilliantly cllear, medium gold in color with a quickly dissipating white head. Rich, dense malts give you a wallop of flavor, and they are finished with some nice and tantalizing citric hops. I rather enjoy it!

Jul 23, 2007 Updated: Nov 17, 2008The aroma is hoppy in a citrus way with cheap malts. The appearance is gold with an amber hue. The head is average at best. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s plenty drinkable but not great.

Jul 22, 2007 Nice cereal malty, medium bodied drink. The malt base was heavy enough to be present while allowing the drink to stay fresh and clean making a really refreshing lager. Nice and flavorful served cold on a hot day.
