Sweet bready flavor at forst, then a crisp finish. Subtle honey-ish flavors throughout. Very nice session beer. Kevin (1920), Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 8, 2007 bottle. ahh, 11 hour day, 45 minutes to get the bus home and walk the remainder. throw in a pizza, lets see, gotta be back at the bus stop in 7 hours. crack a beer. light amber color with a bit of head, although it can be poured without if you try reral hard on the second of the six pack, and i did apparently. husky nose with a touch of something floral and syrupy. flavor, well, damn this works, it works well. watery caramel with a solid hop balance that does not intrude. graininess(is that a word, fuck it, it is now) works to make this taste like a liquid wheat bread, and i loves me some wheat bread. bit of honey in this too. light hop presence lingers in the finish. this is a nice beer, the 6er will go to good use. now to find something that will allow me to sleep tonight. awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 7, 2007 On tap. Pours a filtered clear ruddy honey amber color with a well sustaining layer of fizzy white head. Aromas of biscuit, hay, and subtle notes of toffee. Clean grassy nose with a subtle breath of pear fruits. Light bodied, crisply carbonated, refreshing mouthfeel. Flavors of light biscuity malts combine with some husky grains and grassy hops. Substantial malt base considering the attenuation and drinkability. The hops fade rather quickly, giving it a bit of a muddled grainy finish. riversideAK (2792), Shoreline, Washington, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 4, 2007 Pours a medium dark amber, with no head. Light malt smell, very light. Very little hops. Better flavor than the 01, nice hop flavor up front with a crisp bitter finish. This could make a solid dinker of many in a row. Hops marry well with the malt. Overall, a lovely lager. I wish more American breweries would try this challenging beer style. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 24, 2007 Light yellow coloured body with a nice white head and a bunch of bubbles. Aroma of wheat and malt with some light hops and barely anything else. Light to Medium-bodied; Nice malty flavour with some hops and very little else. Aftertaste shows more of the same with little aftertaste and harsh flavours. Overall, a good summer beer that was definitely worth trying. I sampled this 12 ounce bottle purchased from Sam’s Liquor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 23-June-2007.
