Apr 27, 2009 Lagers aren’t my favorite, but I’m a sucker for anything that says "limited". Nice full-bodied beer, but has a weird aftertaste, kind of like sweet wort. May just be this bottle.

Apr 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours with a clear, whiskey orange hue with a small white head that stays a bit over the top. Aroma of honey, grain, toast, orange blossom and graham cracker. Taste is honey, grain and a bit buttery. Pretty bland. Light carbonation.

Apr 21, 2009 bottle. Little to no fizzy white head over a golden brown body. Aroma of honey, caramel. Flavor was slight astringency with a bitter finish. No real flavor, just kinda nasty. Watery and fizzy.

Apr 19, 2009 12 oz bottle poured into a seidel. Clear light copper color with a small but dense cap of beige foam. Aroma is tangy and malty, toasty and orangey. Flavor is bready with some mild citrus and an almost milky texture. A touch of earthy hops and even a hint of alcohol warmth in the finish. A little light on flavor for the abv. Soft smooth mouthfeel with perfect carbonation. This beer is having an identity crisis. Does it want to be a strong lager? It has the abv but not the flavor. Does it want to be a refreshing, lighter lager? It has the body but too much abv. Decent, but LTD 01 was better.

Apr 18, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a copper bronze into my lager flute. Creates a 2 finger head that laces he glass and leaves a thin head covering the surface. Nose is soft, but sweet. Flavor is very nice malt with a touch of bitter in the back of the throat. Is that peaches? Has an off-fruit flavor that lingers in the malt. Otherwise the malt is butter toffee, but carries that fruit flavor. Has the falvor complexity found in ales. Mouthfeel is full, but not thick. Nicely done lager. One of the better for the style.

Apr 13, 2009 Nice caramel brown/copper color that fades away quickly. Good looking lager. Slight caramel malt aroma, but other than that a muted aroma. Slight sweet aroma as well. After trying the beer you can really smell that sweet part. Nice smooth palate, but nothing extraordinary. A pretty good lager with some nice sweet fruit flavors in the taste. Give it a try, but if you can find a single I would definitely purchase that instead of the 6-pack.

Apr 10, 2009 Bottle. Amber copper color, small white head that dissapates quickly. Smells of spicy hops, maybe a bit of smoke? Taste is apple, pear, sweet malt, bread, light finish. Like a Fat Tire lager or something. Could make a good session beer, but not super impressive.
