| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 7, 2007 a second lager out of the LTD series (a Helles). well, the bock wasn’t so great, so let’s see how this flies. pours an expected amber-tinted gold, with a lightly orange tinted head that retains so-so and leaves ok lace. dull nose features some lightly toasted malts, not much else (fairly clean lager yeast character without typical euro-DMS). decent enough flavor, though sweet and toasty enough to be more reminiscent of a Maibock than a Helles (Helles-bock?imperial helles). a little too sweet for my taste, and not terribly refreshing. fairly warm finish. not what I was looking for, but ok for what it is, I guess. as it warms some solvent and nail polish notes come out.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 10, 2009 A: Golden yellow in color with a billowing head upon the pour. The head fades to just less than one finger in pilsner glass as several strings of tiny bubbles steadily race to the top.
S: A nice malty smelling beer with hints of a honey like sweetness.
T: Not real flavorful. Like the smell the taste is malty with a touch of sweetness.
M: This beer is very crisp on the tongue. Its very light and smooth it goes down easy.

Pours clear honey orange color with some decent lacing. Flavor is quite similar to the aroma description. Overall this is pretty good, a decent session brew. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear golden-orange color with a thin, bubbly white head that faded to a thin layer. Sweet, malty aroma with some light caramel and a bit of graininess paired with some faint grassy hops. Smooth, moderately sweet entry with some light caramel and a faint graininess that leads into a soft grassy hoppiness that lingers into a lightly dry finish. Moderate carbonation and crisp mouth feel. Overall, it’s a simple lager that doesn’t really stand out on any fronts, but it’s decent and drinkable. skoisirius (580), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 2, 2009 Not much to say about this guy except that it’s a great tasting slightly malted lager that goes great in hot weather. This second edition being more crisp and less malty than the first. Fratto (728), Arlington, Texas, USA
