Commercial Description:
The newly designed bottle labels describe LTD Bottling 03, as crisp, new pilsner-style lager that is pale golden in color, features a spicy floral hop aroma, a malty medium body, and a smooth thirst-quenching finish. LTD 03 registers "Pale" on the "Malt-O-Meter" that is featured on the six packs. Beer aficionados, or the aspiring ones, will enjoy the bottom of the six-pack that features an easy-to-read chart of "Today’s Recipe," including Sterling hops, 2 row pale malt, plato (14 degrees), I.B.U. (35), alcohol by volume (5.6) and any special ingredients.

The label says this is a pilsener and it sure fits the style. Dark yellow but not orange. fizzy, short head. Smells like malt and honey. The flavor is a crisp lager, very easy to drink, good stuff. I also like the fact that Full Sail has very reasonable pricing, this was $7 for a sixer. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 07-03-2009 21:09:20

12oz bottle that I picked up today at Malt and Vine. Pours a slightly darker clear golden with a very thin head that dissipates rather quickly. Nose is light grassy pils smelling with some bready sweetness in there. Tight carbonation, refreshing and crisp pils flavor. A touch sweet, but all in all very drinkable. Ideally for me, this would be year around, about $6 a 6pack and canned.

Bottle. Crisp, refreshing cracker pils malt, low to medium hop presence in the nose, suitable for northern German pils. Silky, oily, medium/light body, has a lightness to the texture. Pils malt (crackers), slightly sweet bread. Unassuming and uncomplicated, simple, refreshing and delicious.

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Very light lacing. Aroma is grain and herbal hops. Flavor is also grainy malt with a nice touch of spicy herbal hops. Medium body. A nice beer.

12oz bottle. Spicy hop and minerally Full Sail aroma. The flavor is a little sweeter than you would expect, with spicy hops and that same Full Sail earthy mineral flavor. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. I wanted to like this more, but it just ended up tasting like the rest of their beers.

Batch 03 on label. Pours clear gold with a clean white head. Aroma is sugary, with white bread and grass. Palate displays beautifully fine carbonation over a crisp, smooth body. Quite pleasant. Flavor starts with pale malt, sugar, and soft peach, finishing with grassy bitterness. Simple, yet flavorful. This is a nice quencher with enough body to keep it interesting. “Robust” pilsner?

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Medium golden on the pour. Slight sweet hoppy aroma with some good maltiness. Nice hoppiness for a pilsener. Full flavored and well balanced. Solid brew.

2009 Bottle - Pours lt orange with a large white head...aroma is lightly hoppy and fresh grains...flavour is nicely bitter up front with a subtle maltiness, highly carbonated...not too much other than that, better than the other two LTD’s...not much of a pilsner, but still tasty...
